Psychiatric Study

PSYCHIATRIC STUDY
A study conducted by UCLA's department of psychiatry has revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle.
For example: If she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features.
However, if she is menstruating or menopausal, she tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth and a spear lodged in his chest while he is on fire.
No further studies are expected.

Taxes

I have a rather strange thing to admit. I LOVE preparing taxes. I would do them for everyone if I could. I used to do my Grandma's every year, but this year I think hers will be too complicated. A few years back I even considered taking the HR Block classes and working during tax season.
Anyways, I finished my taxes online last night and they were already approved this morning, so the refund check is on the way!
I am really excited about that money, but not for the reason you may be thinking. I am not going to buy clothes or shoes or chocolate.
This year is much more rewarding. I am going to write a check and walk into the most comforting doors in town, my church. Hopefully with the check we give in 10 - 14 days our wonderful church can put in a few windows or some carpet.
God tells us to give back, and for the first time in my adult life my husband and I will be able to follow his instructions. I am actually so excited about this I can't even believe it.

Thank you Lord for all of your blessings that you have bestowed upon me. Thank you for never giving up, and thank you for putting all the wonderful things on my heart that you do.

Prayers

Well,
I have had a few prayers lately and God has answered them. The first prayer I had was last week. I prayed that God would take my Gramby (my grandmother) into his arms before she suffered any more. God answered my prayer on Tuesday the 15th at 11:16am. Gramby is now with God. The thing is is that I don't feel like she is gone. She is right here with me by my side. I still feel her presence every three hours just like I would when she would call me every three hours on the phone. I know she is in a better place now.
I also know that Moses is in a better place now. Helen from church graciously accepted Moses into her family to help with the sadness of them having to put down their 17 year old kitty last week. Moses is now free from two year olds pulling his hair, and 10 month olds chasing him down the hall. He can now enjoy a kid free life and I can now enjoy a cat hair free house. I will admit that I am pretty sad about the whole thing, but my kids were allergic to him and they are much more important to me. It does help knowing that he is in a sweet loving home.
I have a few prayers that I am hoping will be answered as well. I pray for my dear sweet friend Kristan and her family, and I pray for that ray of sunshine that we all call Abby and her little boy. Dear Lord open your healing arms around these two young children and let them enjoy the joys of childhood.

Seriously Now, Moses needs a home

So I know I posted this post a few months ago. But now I am desperate. The baby boy is allergic to the cat as well. Please help me.

Please spread the word.

Love him!

Hold Her Up In Prayer

Dear Lord,
Please here my prayer for our friend Kristan and her newborn son Logan. Please wrap your healing arms around him, and comfort Kirstan and her family during these difficult moments.

Hello y'all!

Hi!
So as I am sure you have guessed, I have been very busy. I have had lots of things I have thought to blog about, but not the time to write.
I started school on Monday, this term doesn't look too bad, pretty well organized, and a lot of busy work.
The biggest news I have is that for the first time in my life I am eating healthy. I am not one to diet, in fact I hate them, I LOVE food way to much to deprive myself. However, I found the perfect diet for me. It is called the Sonoma Diet. It consists of portion sizes and FABULOUS food. No sugar or fruit for the first 10 days, that has been tough, but I am almost through it. My husband and I started on the 1st (he has since fallen off the wagon, derailed by a package of fruit snacks and bread at the Roadhouse. He is however eating a lot better than he used to, no fast food.) since then I have lost 8 lbs and counting! I am back in the gym and feeling great!
So I guess you could all take this as a plug for the Sonoma Diet. You can find the book on Amazon, and it is great, it is a lifestyle change, not deprivation.
Hope you all are doing well,
Kim
